LANGUAGE ASSESSMENT AND REFERRAL CENTRE (LARC)

     The Language Assessment and Referral Centre Saskatoon (LARC) provides free language assessments and referrals to federally funded language programs (LINC) 

 

Services:

  • Assessment of language skills using the Canadian Language Benchmarks Placement Test (CLB-PT) and the Canadian Language Benchmarks Literacy Placement Test (CLB-LPT)
  • Needs Assessment and Consultation
  • Referrals to Federally Funded language programs in Saskatoon (LINC)

Eligibility:

  • Clients must be Permanent Residents. Proof of Permanent Residence is required
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Must be ready to start attending classes in Saskatoon at the time of assessment 
  • *Note: The LARC does not provide free assessments for the purpose of Citizenship testing

  • Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday: 9am-5pm,
  • Wednesday: 9am-8pm,
  • Saturday: 9:30am-5pm
  • Childminding available on Tuesdays (9am-5pm) and Wednesdays (1pm-5pm)
  • Office Hours Regina:
  • Monday to Saturday: 9am-5pm  
  • Childminding will be available in the future
