Our EAL (English as an Additional Language) classes are run by volunteer instructors, operate on a drop-in basis and are free of charge. The curricula are flexible as the teachers endeavour to accommodate the diverse English language skills of the participants.

Currently, classes are held at five locations around the city of Saskatoon.  

Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Confederation Mall, 300 Confederation Drive.  These classes are located in the Saskatoon Health Region Office, near the Walmart entrance, taught by Christine Sutton.

Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:00pm -3:00pm at The Salvation Army Temple, located at #38 Bateman Crescent.  Childminding is offered during the Thursday classes only, taught by Christine Sutton.

Wednesdays from 1:00pm to 3:00pm at the IWS office building in Room 129 on the first floor, taught by Christine Sutton.

Saturdays from 2:00-4:00pm at the Meadowgreen House for All Nations, for mothers (Women only).  Meadowgreen House for All Nations is located at 501C Ave W South--in the Meadowgreen Strip Mall. Childminding is offered , taught by Leah Solheim & Heather Piller.
